First off I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all have done a lot for us. Above and beyond anything I can think of and expected. The gator hunting was unbelievable. Words can not describe how thankful I am. Thank you again.

Thank you for everything you do for us wounded service members. It really is a good program that you all have organized because it allows people like us with disabilities to do what we used to love to do or learn something new. Thank you again for doing everything you do for us, I can't say enough to show my appreciation.

I really can not express how grateful I am for the past few days. This trip will be remembered for the rest of my life. Thank you to everyone that participated in getting us to Florida and taking us on this spectacular trip.

I want to say thank you to Ron and everyone else who contributed to Wounded Warrior Outdoors for allowing us to come up and have such an awesome time. This has been a lifelasting experience for me, one I will never forget. You all are awesome in our eyes for doing such a thing for us even though you didn't even know us. I am forever grateful for people like you. Again, thank you so much!

To WWO staff, guides and friends: Thank you so much for the fantastic experience here in BC. The atmosphere, food and hospitality were second to none! You all worked so hard...thank you so much, it's a genuinely healing experience. Thank you all and God Bless the work you do.

The words thank you can only express a small portion of my appreciation for the hunt of a lifetime. Chasing dogs up mountain sides and riding old logging trails in pursuit of world class black bears has been an adventure I will never forget. But the hunt itself was only part of the experience. The effort put forward by everyone from Ron to the guides to make us feel truly welcome and at home is what made this the hunt of a lifetime. Thank you so much - you are true patriots.

My name is Shawn Horsley. I am stationed with the Wounded Warrior BN - East aboard Camp Lejeune, NC. I am still an active duty Marine, but I will be medically retired soon. I was injured in each of my 3 deployments to Iraq. I ran across a magazine article about what you all do and am blown away! What you all do for my comrades is amazing. I had no clue we had this much support out there. I didn't start making good progress until I started wanting to get out there. The pictures on the site were beautiful.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks. I know how much those things matter to us. It is folks like you that make us realize it was worth all of it and I would go back again if I could.
I was in the field all last week so I wasn't able to read the article until
today. That is a wonderful article thank you. I hope things go good for
you, what you are doing for guys like myself is wonderful, I just wish that
I can repay you back some how. I am speechless I can't thank you enough. I
will continue to talk to you while I am in Afghanistan. You can still
contact me on this email. I hope all continues to go good and I will be
talking to you.
Thank You

Dear Ron,
I just wanted to express my thanks for the trip you allowed me to have. I had an amazing time hunting bears up in Canada. Let your wife and her friend know that I loved their food and it made my time there even better. Your accommodations where more than necessary. I look forward to seeing you in the future for any reason.

Ron,
To have you say "welcome aboard" brought a wonderful feeling to my heart. I know it was all about Jim and Josh last night but I came away the happiest captain ever!! You are absolutely correct; God's amazing intervention was with us last night. I have hunted many years and of course have wanted everyone I take out to harvest a gator. But never in my life have I wanted to kill a gator more than I did last night and to have it pan out like it did with two gators who cooperated like they did....I am still in awe. The smiles on Jim and Josh's face were priceless.
Seeing them go through every step of killing a gator including using the spear and the bang stick was outstanding. They did everything any of my hunters do and you are right, they are just like us enjoying the opportunity. It was a very cool experience for me to witness all of that of which I'm sure you see on many of your hunts.
Thanks again Ron, I am looking forward to working with you further. As I did with getting the work done on my boat, I am approaching all my contacts and telling them about WWO. I was able to get the processing done for free as well!! I will put together a list of receipts I would like to give to them and the items you mentioned from my expenses for the tax deductions. I will keep you posted as to the taxidermy costs if any. Talk soon.
Mike
As I read your article I could not help but have tears streaming down my face, what an incredible story. Having my son who was an active marine recently complete his commitment and is now off to college I could not help but wonder why God saw fit to keep him from harm while he was in Iraq, but I will forever be a grateful Dad for that.
You are an inspiration, while business is not doing as well and personal funds are way down, I promise I will be doing what I can to support this endeavor. My wife & I committed to sending over a minimum of two packages a week to some troops in either Iraq or Afghanistan while my son was In the Marines, now I just adopted another friends son who is in the army (he is currently in Afghanistan) and am going to do the same as long as he is serving (Hell, I think I will just do it as long as we are at war with those crazy bastards) I know that $50.00 a week is not a lot, I hope I can touch the life of just one soldier or Marine and perhaps make a small difference.
I am trying to come up with some ways I can do more fund raising and I promise you I will always support this some way. I will be sending some funds directly.
